DAY 01: ARRIVAL DELHI
Traditional Indian welcome by flower garland on arrival at Delhi International and transfer to your hotel of stay. Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi
DAY 02: DELHI
After breakfast at your hotel enjoy a specialist rickshaw tour by “India City Walks” in Old Delhi, including some of the historic monuments (Red Fort and Jama Masjid), palaces (Zeenat Mahal and Begum Shamroo Palace), mansions, elegant shrines (Jain temples and other worship places), and colourful bazaars and street eateries of Chandni Chowk . Listen to stories of the sites along with rare pictures and sketches. The tour ends at an Old Haveli (mansion) built in 1860, which has a photo gallery depicting the lifestyle of Mughals. After lunch, proceed to New Delhi visiting the Qutab Minar Complex, visiting a myriad of monuments that combine both Islamic calligraphy and Hindu motifs, Then proceed to “Lutyen’s” New Delhi, drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, (President’s Palace), Secretariat Buildings, Parliament House and the India Gate, a war memorial arch built in honour of soldiers who died in the Afghan Wars and World War–I. Enjoy Buffet dinner at hotel of stay.
DAY 03: DELHI – AGRA (BY SURFACE: 220 KMS/04 HRS)
After early breakfast check-out and drive to Agra. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the famed Taj Mahal. Later proceed to visit Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jahangir. Other places to see within the fort include the Khas Mahal. Learn about the intricate skills of laying marble, when you visit a marble inlay workshop. Evening enjoy “Mohabbat – The Taj” show. This show depicts a saga of love based on story behind the making of Taj Mahal. Enjoy buffet dinner tonight at hotel of stay.
DAY 04: AGRA – JAIPUR (BY SURFACE: 255 KMS/06 HOURS)
Early morning visit of Taj Mahal, Perhaps no other symbol epitomizes India as Taj Mahal. Situated on the banks of the river Yamuna, the Taj Mahal is an epitome of love, a poem in marble by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Jaipur en-route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, This city was abandoned due to political reasons. Among the principal attractions of Fatehpur Sikri are the large audience halls, palaces, the Mosques, the tomb of Salim Chishti, the Panchmahal, and the Buland Darwaza, which is among the biggest gates in Asia. Lunch and continue drive to Jaipur and check-in at hotel. Dinner tonight will be Buffet at hotel of stay.
DAY 05: JAIPUR
After breakfast proceed for a visit of Amber fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. Ride Elephants to ascend the Fort situated on hilltop. Lunch then continue your tour of Jaipur visiting the City palace, the Jantar mantar – an astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 18th century, which is remarkable for its accuracy even at the present times. Lastly stop at Palace of Winds for taking pictures and spend time in crowded lanes & by lanes of pink city, haggling and souvenir hunting. Also enjoy a walk through vibrant and colourful markets of Jaipur is experience to cherish with. Tonight’s dinner at “Spice court” restaurant while enjoying Indian Folk dances.
DAY 06: JAIPUR – DELHI-DEPARTURE (BY SURFACE: 250 KMS/05 Hours)
After breakfast check-out and drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Gurgaon straight proceed for Lunch at “Kingdom of dreams” and later Witness an eye-catching live Bollywood style show at this ultimate entertainment and leisure destination. This fabulous Kingdom brings to life a blend of India’s art, culture, heritage, craft, cuisine and performing art…all with the technological wizardry of today. It hosts acclaimed musicals and theatre productions like ‘Jhumroo’ and “Zangoora” which is the biggest Bollywood musical ever. Later proceed for dinner then transfer to airport to board onward flight.
